i rem last year, i was really unhappy over some misc stuff for my bday and i think i cried a little.

this year, im not expecting anything but so far, it's been pretty fine except the recent night. i alrd had 3 mini surprises.

1. the surprise present from mingxuan gwen vivian and ethel. i did expect a present but the present was unexpected. now i have like 6 or 7 bottles of perfume? i gave one away somemore. luckily they can be used forever. saves me a lot of money. i dont wanna use it anyhow cus one spray costs like 5 cents? i dont know. no la. as in, its really crazy to heed the advice of one friend, who said i shld spray the room etc. kinda wasteful huh.

2. the surprise present from patrick. when the mailman came on father's day, philip thought it was father's day present and my dad was quite happy. but somehow, i knew it was for me and i guessed that its an ipod but i forgot all abt it immediately the same day. so when patrick gave me few days back on that early morn, i was really surprised. i really do not expect any presents from him and he shld really save it for other more impt stuff. he bought me perfume one year too. i think presents above 50 are considered really generous. so nice right. and you shld read philip's blog abt me happy can le. so good to have them.

3. the surprise cake from sue vann and py. i swear i was not acting and i really really forgot that it was my advance bday dinner. details in previous entry.

this morn, me and philip slept at 7.30. we ordered mcgriddles. so fattening!! ytd i ate 3 slices of choc cake. 3 slices of bread with tuna. char siew rice for lunch. mixed veg rice for dinner. CARBOOOOOOOOOOOOO. omg. sigh. i just ate nasi lemak and lian rong bao for breakfast. im not gonna eat until dinner. i swear. i hope?

the "recent night" was a traumatizing night for us and i will never wanna mention it again. i wished i cld bring philip out tonight but he has sch tmr. sigh. i felt so sad to see him cry and i tried to make him feel better. therefore, aside from the unhappy thoughts, im proud to say im not that bad a sister.
